  • Adults vs. Pediatric Services

    SLPs are medical specialists who work with individuals across the lifespan who have any of a number of oral issues or pharyngeal impairments., such as general communication to voice, language, and swallowing.

  • Evaluation

    A 60 minute evaluation will depend on what concerns are expressed during the consultation. The evaluation may be made up of formal and informal assessments, parent and family report, and observation of the client in their natural environment.

  • Treatment

    The treatment plan and goals are individualized to meet the needs of each client. Skilled treatment is determined from the results of the formal and informal assessment, parent/client interview, and collaborates with the client, family/caregivers, and parents to meet each persons’ needs. Therapy intensity and duration are determined based on evaluation results.

  • Telehealth

    Telepractice is the delivery of services using telecommunication and Internet technology to remotely connect clinicians to clients, other health care providers, and/or educational professionals for screening, assessment, intervention, consultation, and/or education.

  • Home Health

    Speech-language services in the home allows for one-on-one interaction in an environment where the patient is most comfortable. This allows SLPs to observe and work with clients in a natural setting that addresses real life functional needs.
